Stay in village gîtes and riads, and explore the souks and kasbahs of Marrakech and Ait Benhaddou.

Summit Seekers

Stand on Jebel Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak at 4,167 metres, on a 2–5 day ascent.

Experienced Mountaineers

Take on winter ascents, the M’Goun summit or the 15-day Grand Traverse of four 4,000 m peaks.

Why Trek Morocco?

Three Worlds, One Journey.

Morocco packs astonishing contrast into a short trip—alpine summits, Berber hospitality and the silence of the Sahara, all within a few hours of Marrakech.

From Valleys To Summits

Berber Hospitality

Share mint tea and home-cooked meals in village gîtes, guided by people who call these mountains home.

Best Time To Visit

A Year In Morocco.

Morocco can be explored year-round, but spring and autumn bring the most comfortable trekking and desert conditions. Summer opens the high passes, while winter turns Toubkal into a snow-covered expedition.

MAR — MAY

Spring Trekking

Green valleys, blossoming orchards and mild days make spring ideal for trekking. Snow lingers on the high peaks into April, so early ascents may need winter gear.

Valleys & Summits
JUN — AUG

Summer In The High Atlas

Snow-free passes and long days open up the full High Atlas circuits and Lake Ifni. Valleys are hot at midday, and the Sahara is best avoided.

Summit Circuits
SEP — NOV

Autumn Colours

Stable weather, clear skies and the walnut and apple harvest in the Berber valleys. Cooler desert days make this a perfect time for Sahara tours.

Sahara & Culture
DEC — FEB

Winter Ascents

Snow transforms Toubkal into a winter expedition with crampons, ice axe and refuge stays. Desert days are mild, with cold nights in camp.
